You're a slime, living on a planet with its sun at its core. It's been heating up too much recently, causing all sorts of problems, and only you can stop it! (Everyone else doesn't have the energy, slime's aren't great with heat...)

SharedArrayBuffer/Blocked Page Issues Update

TL;DR - If the web version doesn't work on your computer, please use Chrome to download the executable, or download from Google Drive.

The issues with playing the game in browser and downloading it seem to stem from Itch.io's SharedArrayBuffer support currently being experimental. Enabling SharedArrayBuffer support prevents downloads in Firefox, but they still work in Chrome and other Chromium-based browsers.

Download

Download
Slime to the Sun (Windows) 71 MB
Download
Slime to the Sun (Linux x86_64) 72 MB

Install instructions

Note: Downloads only work from Chrome at the moment, due to my game requiring SharedArrayBuffer. If you would prefer not to use Chrome, you can also download the game from Google Drive here.

Download the .exe or .x86_64 and run it! The only necessary file is the executable.

The click controls make a lot more sense actually for this type of game than a keyboard, I wonder if the character slid a little if it would be annoying or more interesting. Really cool!

Hasn't been able to play it: Web version doesn't work, and when trying to install x86_64 version, I get "Blocked Page" error :(

It took me a little while to figure this issue out, other people are having it too. Because SharedArrayBuffer support (which my game needs) is currently experimental on Itch.io, downloads don't work on Firefox, but they do work on Chrome and other Chromium-based browsers. I also added a Google Drive link to the description as an alternative download option.
